The SCGA will this year induct Corey Pavin and Craig Stadler into its Hall of Fame on November 13 following the Association's Annual Meeting.

Corey Pavin boasts an impressive career with 15 PGA TOUR victories and 28 professional wins, including winning the 1995 U.S. Open. Pavin played on three Ryder Cup teams and captained the 2010 team. The current Champions Tour member grew up in Southern California and attended the University of California, Los Angeles. At UCLA, Pavin posted 11 victories and was named NCAA Player of the Year in 1982.

With 31 total professional victories, 1982 Masters Champion Craig Stadler continues to find success on the course, collecting an additional nine wins as a member of the Champions Tour. Stadler was also part of the 1983 and 1985 Ryder Cup teams. The San Diego native won the 1973 U.S. Amateur while attending the University of Southern California, where he was also an All-American all four years. Stadler's son Kevin is currently playing on the PGA TOUR.

These honorees represent those who brought the game to Southern California, who nurtured it through early decades into the first great Golden Age of golf course construction in the 1920s, who kept it alive during the Great Depression and World War II, and who had a vision for growth in the post-war era. Scott Medlock, one of America's foremost artists, has been commissioned to be the official artist for the SCGA Hall of Fame since its inception in 2007.
